Why Kevin Durant should win he MVP this NBA Season

Its pretty clear to see that the best two players in the NBA of course happen to be LeBron James (The reigning MVP of two consecutive years) and then followed by Kevin Durant. Lebron literally Elevated his performance to career highs (53% field goal percentage . 40 % from the 3 point Line , rebounding (8.0) , passing the ball (7.3 in assists) just on the offensive side of basketball. Not only had Lebron improve his own game, the whole team benefited greatly. LeBron elevated the team's overall record by increasing MIami's wins by 20 games compared to the 2011-2012 season (despite their being a shortened season).Also Lebron's Miami Heat hosted the league's best  record with 66 wins and 16 losess. Safe to say the mvp of the 2013 year was deserving to be in LeBron's poession.

This year Kevin Durant is having season. The Thunder are having a better overall season, and yet Durant is has carring the Thunder, despite being down his Rodman superstar    point guard , Russell Westbrook. This season Kevin Durant numbers are proving to be deserving of dethroning the king from his MVP throne. Durant this season is averaging 31 points,7.8 rebounds,5.2 assists ,.09 blocks and 1.5 steals per game while shooting 52% from the field, 88% from the free throw also shooting 41% from the 3 point Line. Compared to Lebron's 26 points ,6.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists ,.03 blocks and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 57 % from the field , 37% from the 3 point Line, and 75% from the free throw line. Not to add in the fact that Durant's Thunder are having a record wise season, and not to add in the huge emphasis that Durant is on a 12 straight games record of scoring 30 point scoring and counting. Personally I believe that the statistics are proving that Durant is having the better year, but the fact that it's better than the reigning MVP is saying everything.
