Is community college really the best option for students ?

The decision to attend community college for me seemed to be a fairily easy one. Coming back to my hometown ,being closer to my family, the amount of debt after my first two collegic years and being close to home all played determining factors in my choice to attend an community collge. You may think if you receive scholarships to a university everything is perfect right? Not exactly, have you factored in room and board, meal plans or things to accessorize your dorm? Things can add up fairly fast opposed to attending your local community college and living at home. Think about it, typically community colleges are smaller than universities meaning that class sizes would be smaller, meaning you could develop a relationship with your professors. Which you will find to be very useful and detrimental to you academic excellence especially in your first two years. Aside from small class sizes, tuition happens to be very cheap. Your tuition and classes cost could easily be covered with a simple grant or scholarship and potential have money left over to save or spend as you please. It's great I tell you. For me the choice to attend community college was fairly easy , will it be for you ?
